Biography

Iulia was born in England in the late nineteen fifties. In 1991 Iulia, studied Art & Design at Yeovil College, where she won the Pittards Award for outstanding work. Her training continued at Plymouth University where she gained a BA Honours Degree in Design in 1994. Between 2000 and 2004, Iulia was employed as an associate lecturer at the University Centre Yeovil where she ran Multimedia Design course modules to degree level. In 2002 she was awarded a Further & Adult Education Teacher’s Certificate from Exeter University. Iulia has worked as a freelance graphic and multimedia designer for the past decade.

Iulia was raised within the Greek Orthodox Constantinopolitan Church. She was received into the Catholic Church on the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 2008. Attending her first iconographic workshop in the same year. In October 2013 she completed a four-year part-time Diploma in Icons & Wall Painting at the Prince's School of Traditional Arts.
